AkDeniz Avleri is the name of the complex where our villa is situated. It is situated 1.5km from the main town and as such is quite and secluded.
There is a central pool area where you can relax with a drink or ice cream from the cafe situated next to the large pool.
As you can see the pool is rarely busy and there is plenty of space to soak up that sun while enjoying a cold drink or ice-cream from the cafe. As part of the pool area there is a kids paddling pool so even the little one can enjoy a safe swim.

The town tends to be referred to as Sarigerme, but it is actually the lovely sandy beach a few hundred yards from the town center. The town is actually called Osmaniye but if you ask for Sarigerme people will know what you mean.
This small Village Sarigerme (Osmaniye) becomes quite lively during the summer months as it has 7 major hotels attracting holiday makers from Europe. There is a main street which has boutiques, restaurants and bars but the main attraction has to be the very attractive sandy beach which hosts water sports, sunbeds and has a shady wooded picnic area, as well as a cafeteria.
The name Sarigerme is linked to the Sariçay Stream that divides Osmaniye and the coast. The Sariçay was once used as the transportation route for timber that was brought from the forest to the sea. To prevent the timber from escaping into the sea the stream's outlet into the ocean was closed during times of timber transportation. Thus the name ‘Germe', which means tightening or fencing. Sarigerme, with its seven kilometres of coastline, shallow sea and the island of Baba not too far in the distance, is truly a perfect holiday haven and place to live. Services such as food and drink outlets, showers, toilets, beach chairs, umbrellas and dressing cabins, as well as a dinghy service across the water to Osmaniye, are all available.

The villa is located in the secluded area 1.5km from the town center so is a bit too far for a quick walk into the shops. As such we recommend that you rent a car to give you freedom to visit the surrounding area.
However, if you are just after a quite time, relaxing by the pool, catching the boat down to the local beach and taking the odd visit out then you could survive using the local taxi service. you can always get the security guard to phone for you.
