Grants
If you are considering changing your heating system help is at hand with the cost if you install a solar system. Application is free, not means tested, and available to everyone. Qualifying for a grant is very straightforward.
Tavistock Solar Solutions are a credited installer company. We are able to supply grant-funded installations to our customers.
The main criteria is:
- 1. Applicants must be the homeowners of the property for which the grant is applied. Applicants who have leasehold ownership of their property must obtain permission from the freeholder.
- 2. Applicant must be a resident of the UK.
- 3. Solar systems must supply a permanent building. Mobile homes, caravans, houseboats are not eligible
- 4. You have installed the basic energy efficiency measures within your home.
- 5. You must have the minimum of 270mm of loft insulation required to meet current building regulations where practicable.
- 6. Grants are only given to those who have their installations installed by an accredited installer who is fully qualified with a bpec qualification (the government sets this). Grants are paid directly to the customer when the installer has commissioned your system and supplied his paperwork with proof of qualifications.
